Ethan Coen and Tricia Cooke are back with their follow-up to Drive-Away Dolls and judging by the trailer, we’re in for quite a crime caper in click-clacking heels.
Honey Don’t sees private investigator Honey O’Donahue (Margaret Qualley, The Substance) digging into what looks like a car accident but could be a more sinister death. It’s a solid cast for this one, with Aubrey Plaza also starring as a local cop, Charlie Day as a local detective, and Chris Evans as a flashy preacher with more than a few secrets.
It’s the kind of summer movie we dream of.
Honey Don’t opens in theaters Aug. 22.
